Portal to Portal

From the 1940's, Portal to portal is a term that defines the moment a person passes through the door of the workplace to the time they head home. Placed within the entryway of a private home, this work seeks to co-opt that term, instead celebrating the time spent at home. What are the influences and outside feelings from the world that flow into the most precious of spaces, and what are brought out to share with everyone? Like the Mangrove root systems the forms are based from, the information that flows from the different ecosystems can have great affect on the life connected.
