Evolution of the Expanse, Ceramic, Glaze, Painted PlyWood Backing, 2018
27' W x 4'6" H x 10" D

Inspired by the side view of a spiral Galaxy, this artwork visualizes the movement of cosmic phenomenon with that of human life.
Birth to death, the map composing our human experiences flow, at points eddying in captive space, before releasing into new waters. 176 individual ceramic pieces, mounted on painted plywood backing.
